By accessing or using PromptRaptor services (the "Service"), including our website, browser extensions, and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email notification (if email provided), in-app notification, or website banner. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
Certain features may be subject to additional terms and conditions, which will be presented to you before using those features.
2. Service Description
PromptRaptor provides:
Browser Extension: AI prompt enhancement tool compatible with ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI platforms
Earning Platform: Virtual currency ("Coins") earned through prompt submissions, leaderboards, contests, and prize auctions
Library Marketplace: Access to database of prompts (paid), search and discovery tools
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, force majeure events, or third-party service disruptions.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features, change pricing structures, and update functionality. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes affecting paid services.
3. Account Registration
To use earning features, you must create an account providing a username, date of birth (for age verification), and email address (optional but recommended).
You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of account credentials, all activities under your account, notifying us of unauthorized access, and using a strong, unique password.
You must provide accurate information. False information may result in account termination. You may maintain only one account. Multiple accounts may be merged or terminated.
4. Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Users under 18 require parental consent.
If you are between 13-17 years old, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these Terms. Parent/guardian is responsible for your activities. We may require parental verification for certain features, and prize fulfillment requires parental approval.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover an account belongs to a user under 13, we will terminate the account immediately, delete all collected information, and notify the email address on file.
5. User Conduct
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may NOT:
Violate any laws or regulations
Infringe intellectual property rights
Harass, abuse, or harm others
Submit false, misleading, or spam content
Attempt to manipulate the earning system
Reverse engineer our software
Use automated tools (bots, scripts) without permission
Impersonate others
Interfere with Service operation
All submitted prompts must be original or properly attributed, not contain harmful content, not violate third-party rights, meet quality standards, and be appropriate for all ages.
6. Virtual Currency (Coins)
Coins are virtual currency with NO cash value. Coins cannot be exchanged for real money, cannot be transferred between users, are not property or assets, and exist only within the Service.
Coins are earned by submitting unique, accepted prompts, winning contests, and receiving as prizes. Coin earning is subject to daily caps based on subscription tier:
Free tier: 25 coins/day
Plus tier: 50 coins/day
Pro tier: 125 coins/day
Elite tier: 300 coins/day
Max tier: 750 coins/day
Daily caps reset at midnight UTC. Coins may be used for bidding in auctions and other uses we may introduce.
Coins do not expire unless your account is terminated, you violate Terms (coins may be forfeited), or the feature is discontinued (reasonable notice provided). Coins cannot be refunded or converted to cash under any circumstances.
7. Subscriptions & Payments
We offer various subscription tiers with different benefits. Current tiers and pricing are displayed on our website. Subscriptions are billed monthly (recurring monthly charge) on the same day each billing period using the payment method on file.
By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for initial and recurring subscription fees and any applicable taxes.
We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes apply immediately for new subscribers and at next renewal for existing subscribers. You may cancel before renewal to avoid price increase.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation is effective at end of current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.
8. Auctions & Contests
We may offer prize auctions and contests. Participation is subject to eligibility requirements, official rules for each contest, and applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
Prizes are awarded as described in contest rules. We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value, require winners to sign affidavits or releases, disqualify participants for rule violations, and cancel or modify contests.
Winners are responsible for all taxes on prizes. We may withhold taxes as required by law.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding user content), features, and functionality are owned by PromptRaptor and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Our trademarks include "PromptRaptor," the PromptRaptor logo, and related marks. You may not use these without prior written permission.
10. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of prompts you submit. However, by submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content.
This license allows us to include prompts in library, use for AI training/improvement, display on leaderboards, and use for marketing (anonymized).
You represent that you own or have rights to submitted content and that content doesn't violate any third-party rights.
Violations may result in warning, coin forfeiture, temporary suspension, permanent ban, and/or legal action.
12. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by using the account deletion feature, contacting support, or emailing support@promptraptor.com. Upon termination, your account will be deactivated immediately, coins forfeited, subscriptions cancelled (no refund), and library access revoked.
We may terminate or suspend your account for Terms violations, illegal activity, fraud or abuse, prolonged inactivity (>2 years), or at our discretion with or without cause.
Upon termination, all licenses are immediately revoked, coins forfeited (no compensation), and pending auctions/contests cancelled.
13. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or completeness, uninterrupted access, error-free operation, and security.
We are not responsible for user-submitted content, third-party websites linked from Service, AI platform availability, or Chrome Web Store policies.
We do not guarantee ability to earn coins, contest or auction wins, prize availability, or continued operation of features. Prizes are subject to availability, may be substituted, are provided without warranty, and have no cash value.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR indirect damages, consequential damages, incidental damages, punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost coins, prize values, or opportunity costs.
Some jurisdictions don't allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of certain damages. In such cases, limitations apply to maximum extent permitted by law.
15. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a claim, contact us at support@promptraptor.com to resolve informally. We'll attempt resolution for 60 days.
If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration under American Arbitration Association rules with one arbitrator. Exceptions include small claims court, intellectual property disputes, and equitable relief.
YOU AGREE TO ARBITRATE DISPUTES INDIVIDUALLY. YOU WAIVE RIGHT TO CLASS ACTIONS, CLASS ARBITRATIONS, REPRESENTATIVE ACTIONS, AND CONSOLIDATED PROCEEDINGS.
These Terms are governed by laws of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
